The Role

As a Part-Time Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the company’s credit policies. You will be responsible for overseeing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and minimizing credit risk.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Communicate effectively via phone, email, and letters to ensure overdue debts are managed.
  • Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities and client communications.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve any outstanding issues affecting payment.
  • Prepare regular reports on the status of debts and collections.
  • Dealing with card payments over the phone.
  • Maintain effective credit control policies and procedures.
  • Liaising with our debt collection agency.


Requirements:

  • Experience working within Credit Control/Accounts Receivable - preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
