The Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in engineering to start a brand-new sales department. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in our expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored engineering solutions.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to expand our client base and market presence.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential growth areas.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
- Lead negotiations, close deals, and achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, client feedback, and market trends.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record in business development within the engineering industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry events.
