The Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in engineering to start a brand-new sales department. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in our expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored engineering solutions.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to expand our client base and market presence.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential growth areas.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
• Lead negotiations, close deals, and achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
• Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, client feedback, and market trends.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven track record in business development within the engineering industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Experience using Haas milling machines
• Able to read and understand G codes and M codes.
• Good understanding of feeds and speeds.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
