The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in delivering exceptional customer service and possess strong communication skills to work with our customers and technicians effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service both in-person and over the phone, maintaining consistent communication with customers throughout their vehicle's service or repair process.
  • Accurately record and maintain customer details and vehicle records with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Utilise a cloud-based garage software system to inform customers of their vehicle's progress via email, text messages, and phone calls.
  • Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and turnaround times to customers, adhering to garage policies for payment processing.
  • Build customer confidence by attentively listening to and documenting vehicle issues, and consulting with mechanics as needed to ensure thorough problem resolution.
  • Efficiently manage workshop parts orders in a timely and organised manner to support workshop operations.


Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, within an automotive or service industry setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and technicians.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, beneficial having experience with software systems for customer management and record-keeping.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining customer records and processing payments.
  • Ability to work within a team and independently when necessary.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve skills in customer service and automotive service processes.
