Accountant

Are you an accounting professional with a proven track record and want to be part of a fast-growing independent consultancy?

The Role

We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with 2-3 years PQE. You will have strong all-round accountancy knowledge and experience.

• Financial Statement Preparation
• Bookkeeping Services: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure clients comply with relevant tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
• VAT Returns & HMRC submissions.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance
• Manage all accounting functions using Xero.

Requirements

Skills and experience

• Fully qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, ACA) or similar professional qualification.
• Proficient analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data and trends.
• Well-versed with UK Tax and SME Accounting.
• Ability to develop strong customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good working knowledge of Xero.
